WHO AM I? WHO ARE YOU?

Who are you? Do you know who you are? Have you ever asked yourself that question? Has anyone ever asked you who you are? Do you wish to know who you are? If your answers to these questions are Yes, then you need to know who really you are before you can ascertain you know yourself.
Many people reply the question ‘who are you?’ with the answer ‘My name is Mr. A or Miss B’. Is this right? Yes, but not absolutely correct. This is because who you are is not just your name, culture, skin colour or profession but what you stand for, what your values are, how you perceive life in general ,your actions and reactions, your aims, goals and objectives, your aesthetics and your Mission and Vision in your endeavours.
We can now see that the question ‘who are you?’ is not just asking your name, profession and qualification but it is a question that requires an answer includes all the aforementioned things. Though, you might say ‘I can’t tell just anybody about all these things whenever I am asked who am I’. Yes, you can’t tell just anyone but in certain situations when you are being asked to describe yourself, you are not expected to give just your name and other minute details about yourself but what you are made of, what your objectives are and what your mission is. This is applicable in job interviews, screenings, promotional questioning, personality assessment test and many other instances.
This complete answer to the question would give the interviewer, interrogator or testee a good deal of what he or she wants to know about you. Part of the reasons why most people get disqualified for certain posts and positions is because they don’t know who they are, they have no idea of what their aims, goals, and objectives are and as a result, they don’t have foresight into what can happen in the nearest future. These are fundamentals of a successful person.
One should know what he or she is worth, what is expected of him or her and most importantly, how to answer the question ‘Who are you?’. My name is Quadri Qudus Bolaji a.k.a QIDAKINGIN.
Thank You!
