PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE


 Oftentimes, we have to relate with people of different cultures, backgrounds, ideologies and mindset. It is imperative that every person has a form of relationship with another person or others for survival in the world. This is done through several means in different places. One of these is Peaceful Coexistence.

In our daily affairs, we need to interact with people and these interactions are very essential to our businesses, work groups, families, communal survival and life in general. Interaction and relationships with family, friends, colleagues or acquaintances are always good and profitable if there is Peaceful Coexistence among the parties involved.

Peaceful Coexistence is an integral part of our daily activities that can't be compromised. It is very essential in the family, schools, companies, among friends and in the society. Nothing can be used in place of this particular phenomenon because without peaceful coexistence amongst people, there is tendency of having conflict, hatred, misunderstanding, discrimination and many other negative effects of disharmony and disunity among people.
Peaceful Coexistence is important between friends, among the players of a football team, between the husband and the wife at home, among students of a classroom, among the staff of an organization and among the dwellers of a particular community and country.
An office or organization for example would be very productive and effective in its services if there is a smooth and easy relationship among the workers of that organization. The staff would see themselves as a collective body rather than individuals of different kinds and this would make them all work together to achieve the goals and objectives of the organization.

Peaceful Coexistence in the office environment is very essential to the actualization of the aims of the organization. Love, peace and harmony among the staff is non-negotiable just as cooperation and team work is the key to the success of the organization. The leader of a work group needs to be on board with every member of his team and make sure that there is no conflict among the members of the team.

There should be peaceful coexistence among the Management and staff of an organization. Togetherness should be emphasized and worked towards for the betterment of the organization as a whole.

There should be a form of cooperation and coordination among Heads of Departments, Heads of Units and the coworkers of the organization to ensure that ideas on how to progress will be shared among them and easily implemented for the organization’s success and benefit.

Effective management of conflicts that may have sprung up as a result of individual differences should be made quickly before the escalation stage of the conflict. Guidance and Counseling services should be provided to the workers to enlighten them about the importance of Peaceful Coexistence among them.

Peaceful Coexistence is very important to every institution, organization family and society where a particular goal is targeted at. It cannot and should not be compromised by anyone for anything.

In cases of fights and misunderstandings, fast and proper remediation steps should be taken to restore peace, order and love into the midst of the workers of the organization. It is very natural for people of different mindsets, culture, background and beliefs to have misunderstandings in an organization but it is the steps that are taken by the Personnel or Guidance and Counseling department of the organization that determines how quickly and easy the peacemaking process goes.

Peaceful Coexistence is one of the most important factors for an organization to progress within and outside the walls of the organization. It makes the staff of the organization work together without conflict and misunderstanding amongst each other. It cannot be compromised or exchanged for any other thing. It is sacrosanct to the growth and development of the organization.
