YOUR QUOTA TO HUMANITY
What have you done to
improve the welfare of people living around you? What have you done to help out
the individuals that have come to you for one help or the other? Have you
helped people out of Generosity and not for the intention of getting back a
favour in return?
Every member of the society
has to do something for the upward progression of the community he or she lives
in. No matter how small or little the favour or help might be, we all have to
do something to help others as long as we have the capability to do so.
How many young children have
you touched their lives positively? How many elderly ones have you helped in
doing one thing or the other? How many street kids have you tried to impact
their lives positively by engaging them in various activities that can be of
help to them as well as be an asset for them to use continually?
A #50 naira note given to a
young hungry and tattered-looking boy might be very useful for the boy some
minutes at least. Engaging the jobless youths wandering about in your community
is another great empowerment and a step in the right direction.
Investing in young and
bright minds that don't have the financial capability of sending them to
elementary or higher levels of education as the case may be is another great
act of humanity.
We must always remember that
the world can only be a good, peaceful and humanly place if we all contribute
our quota to humanity. Everybody needs somebody in order to become something
meaningful not just for the individual but for the totality of the populace.
Will you start contributing
your own quota to humanity today? Have you been helping others out when they
need you?
I look forward to a peaceful
and loving society where everyone of us prioritises helping the other person. I
look forward to the Nigeria of a peaceful coexisting people. I look forward to
a greater Nigeria.
Play your part ; Always
contribute your quota to humanity.
