AFTER SCHOOL, WHAT NEXT?

After school, what next? After the 4, 5 or 7 years of Tertiary Education, what next? After being the Departmental, Faculty or University top student for several years, what comes next? - Reality is the next thing that happens.

Reality of how the world works is what comes next. The realisation that there is a wider world out there that works differently is what happens after several years of incubation in the University.

How prepared are you for that reality? What measures have you taken to get ready for the outside and real world? Do you think you've gotten all the necessary ingredients needed to cope in the outside world?

Is your skill set good enough to earn you lucrative opportunities and deals in the labour market? Can your creativity be channelled towards achieving your goals and objectives? Are you ready to sacrifice certain things in your life in order to move forward in life? Are you ready to compromise when you have to?

The questions are for you to answer. The thoughts are yours to ruminate on. The reality is there for everyone of you to see. The real world is out there for everyone of you to experience.

This is dedicated to all the graduating students of Tertiary Institutions. Have all of these and many others things on your mind as you progress in life's journey. Be prepared to take risks, face challenges and difficulties.....
